COHRE promotes human rights by enhancing social awareness of their significance and the importance of respecting individual dignity. We believe that understanding one’s rights can protect against the abuse and violations. Therefore, we empower communities through civic education and literacy programs to develop skills and a better understanding of the laws enshrined in the Constitution of Uganda. Our advocacy focuses on fairness, equal opportunities, and equity, guided by human rights principles.
